Acoustic Internet of Things Network Life Optimization by BAT Clustering Algorithm
摘要
Internet eases the human life in different regions, situations such as at home, air, and underwater. Out of different regions, working of underwater devices depends on energy losses, due to environment conditions. To enhance the lifespan of the Acoustic Internet of Things, this chapter proposes a model, UIOTNBO (Underwater IoT Network BAT-based Optimization). The model optimizes network energy by distributing communication packets among devices. Each device is clustered using the BAT algorithm based on three-dimensional position and current battery life. Experiments were conducted in various acoustic situations, revealing that the proposed UIOTNBO model increases the lifespan of IoT devices in acoustic networks.
