One of the significant factors that have a direct impact on plant growth is the quality of watering. Watering with a suitable water volume is important as it directly impacts the plant. Environmental conditions also play a vital role in a plant’s healthy growth. Lack of water or excessive water content can make the plant dry or rotten. Watering the plants is generally done manually which is not always possible in our busy day-to-day life. A plant watering system can be a solution in which soil moisture is detected using sensors. Plants are watered accordingly with the help of a water pump through the Blynk app and a notification is sent to turn off the water pump when plants are watered adequately. A rain sensor is used to detect the rainfall and send a notification to the user.
