As online shopping and stores become more popular, the need for electronic coupons is also growing. An electronic coupon (e-coupon) tools are used for various marketing tasks like boosting sales, promoting brands, etc. But the e-coupon administrations are helpless against the security issues on account of centralization. Safeguarding against issues like coupon manipulation, replication, and unauthorized use are of utmost importance in the context of e-coupons. To address this problem, we suggest using a blockchain or distributed ledger technology to enhance safety of the electronic coupon system. Our approach involves setting up server to support the electronic coupon service and connect with blockchain. Additionally, develop a smart contract within the blockchain framework to ensure the reliability of the electronic coupon data. Testing proposed system on a Ethereum-supported blockchain architecture and found that it offers improved security with only a slight decrease in performance compared to the existing e-coupon service.
