Clinical and Differential Diagnoses of Liver Cancer
摘要
The majority of early stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is subclinical without any manifestations. In the past, HCC was found only due to clinical symptoms and signs caused by large tumor size or ruptured tumor nodules, or accidentally during surgery. Thus, many patients with HCC have already been at an advanced stage of disease diagnosis, for which the effective treatment is lacking. Early detection, early diagnosis, and early treatment are critical to improve overall prognosis of HCC patients.
