In the global scenario, the electrical power demand is set to grow near to 5% per year in the coming years. Promising green energy harnessing is targeted close to 7%. Together innovative methodologies to store and utilize the green energy that couldn’t be evacuated in the existing power grid infrastructure are to be devised. And this stored energy are to be utilized as a solution for contingency management in the power systems. On the other hand, the electric vehicle (EV) public charging point’s growth is estimated to 55%. In this context, strategies are to be devised for optimal siting of EV high power charging spot infrastructure with photovoltaics (CSIPV) and V2G initiatives for power system contingency management. This work presents a novel algorithm which performs optimal power flow analysis, contingency analysis and postulates solution for optimal siting of CSIPV addressing utilization of EV stored energy. To justify the efficacy of the proposed work, simulations are carried out with the standard IEEE30 bus system and the results are presented.

摘要
