Ultraviolet Wireless Optical Mesh Network Access Protocol
摘要
Wireless mesh networks (WMNs) are multihop wireless networks. They combine the advantages of wireless local area networks (WLANs) and wireless ad hoc networks. The WMN is a network technology with large capacity, high speed, and wide coverage (Zhang and Guo, in Principle and technology of wireless mesh network. Electronic Industry Press, Beijing, 2007). The combination of ultraviolet (UV) communication and a WMN can not only fully exploit the advantages of UV non-line-of-sight (NLOS) communication, including its strong anti-interference ability, but also extend the effective communication distance because of the multihop communication capability of WMNs, which compensates for the short UV communication distance.
