Using ultraviolet (UV) communication not only avoids the expenditure of cost and time to lay cable for wired communication, but also makes wireless communication less insecure and greatly reduces the time required to set up and dismantle communication equipment and lines. The design of UV non-line-of-sight (NLOS) communication systems must consider the physical characteristics of the communication channel as well as transmitter and receiver, digital communication, and network technology (Xu and Sadler, IEEE Commun Mag, 2008). This chapter discusses the node location algorithm used in UV communication networks.
