A New Scheme Modeling Gym Membership Transactions with NFT Systems
摘要
Fitness has become a popular trend, driven by online media. The appeal of a strong and attractive physique is undeniable. With the growing interest in fitness and easy access to fitness information, the demand for fitness is rising. In order to attract longer-term subscriptions, many large chain fitness clubs typically employ a strategy where the longer the membership contract, the lower the average monthly fee. However, this could potentially result in problems when individuals wish to cancel or modify their plans later. Because of the high cancellation fees, some individuals choose to transfer or sell their memberships on social media platforms like Facebook, PTT, and Dcard (Taiwan internet forum). However, such transactions often lead to disputes and inconvenience. As a result, this paper aims to improve the process of second-hand transactions in fitness clubs. We offer memberships in the format of NFTs, utilizing their uniqueness and Tamper-evident to guarantee a precise membership transfer process. Furthermore, this resolves the persistent problems of mistrust and ambiguity in the second-hand transactions market.
