Investigation of the Hydraulically Operated Fan Drive Cooling System of the HEMM
摘要
Heavy earthmoving machinery (HEMM) plays an important role in ensuring the maximum production of the industries and meeting the requirements of demand and supply chain. A majority of the HEMMs are hydraulically operated due to their good specific power. The working fluid (WF) is an essential component of the HEMMs to maintain its necessary properties at a specified level. It is necessary to monitor the WF's temperature, and a reliable cooling system should function well to keep the WF's temperature within the desired range. The purpose of this study is to analyze the hydraulic fan drive system and determine if hydraulically driven fan cooling drives are successful. The suggested system's cooling effectiveness is improved by employing a fuzzy logic controller to adjust the fan speed, according to a MATLAB/Simulink model of the system.
