Menstrual Disorders
摘要
Amenorrhea management focuses on treating underlying causes, supporting fertility goals, preventing complications, and providing patient education. For conditions like Müllerian agenesis or Y chromosome disorders, counseling, gender-affirming care, and options like surrogacy are essential. Functional hypothalamic amenorrhea is reversible with lifestyle changes. In PCOS, weight loss, COCPs, and metformin help regulate cycles and improve fertility. Premature ovarian insufficiency requires hormone replacement therapy to prevent bone loss and cardiovascular risks. Anatomical abnormalities like Müllerian agenesis or Asherman’s syndrome may need surgical correction. A multidisciplinary approach is often necessary to address physical, reproductive, and psychosocial aspects of care in menstrual disorders.
