We reported a 52-year-old male who was on maintenance peritoneal dialysis treated with roxadustat. The patient used oral iron and erythropoiesis-stimulating agents (ESAs) to correct his renal anemia. And he also required multiple medications to control his blood pressure. In order to avoid injecting ESAs, He tried roxadustat. During the following months, not only his renal anemia was well controlled, but his blood pressure was more satisfactory than before, allowing to reduce antihypertensive medications.
