Mineral raw materials are one of the five major elements of mineral material science, and they are also an important embodiment of the mineral properties in mineral material science. They are greatly significant in the research and application of mineralogy and mineral material science. The important minerals and rocks introduced in this chapter, as well as some of the content involved, have been covered in previous literature on mineralogy and industrial minerals and rocks, including Wang et al. (1982, 1984, 1987), Zoltae and Stott (1992), Pan (1993, 1994), Klein and Dutrow (2007), Li (2008), Qin (2011), Tao (1987), Zhang (1987), Guo and He (1991), Pan and Wan (1993), Tao and Su (2002), Dong (2015), Zheng (2007, 2009), Zheng and Yuan (2005), Zheng and Sun (2016), and Ma (2005, 2018).

摘要
