This paper proposes an analysis of the resource allocation in different medical facilities by merging a queuing system together with a compartmental model and a swarm intelligence algorithm. The moth flame optimizer is used to tune the queuing system parameters to minimize the costs. The paper offers a simulation to illustrate the outcome of the queuing system when the input parameters change, using real data.
