The Interaction Between Design Thinking, Systems Thinking, and Computational Thinking
摘要
This chapter delves into the interaction between design thinking, systems thinking, and computational thinking. While design thinking has been extensively discussed in the design literature, and there is some discussion on systems thinking, there is very little discussion on computational thinking within the design context. Consequently, the discussion in this chapter originates from fundamental questions about design and design thinking, which lead to both systems thinking and computational thinking. For instance, can you design without thinking about the system? Similarly, can you design without reasoning, and if not, can you reason without computing? Such questions form the basis and motivation to investigate the interaction between these seemingly overlapping and complementary thinking paradigms.
