Endophytes are organisms in micron size that sustain inside plant tissues, displaying a non-harmful relationship with the plants. Endophytic microorganisms (EMs) encompass bacteria, archaea, yeast, fungi, and viruses, and they can produce a diverse array of secondary metabolites, rendering them well-suited agents for the production of NPs. Recently, a novel development in research at the intersection of biology and nanotechnology has emerged through an endophyte-mediated synthesis of NPs. The green or endophytic driven NPs synthesis is one of the most ecological and eco-friendly methods regarded as potential biofactories. These fungi help synthesize NPs and improve stability, controlled size, and biocompatibility, significantly affecting the NPs’ efficacy at end applications.
