The main factors affecting the rowing performance are the rower’s biomechanics and the blade’s hydrodynamic force. The biomechanics of the rower can be classified as the kinetics and kinematics of a rower. There are disconnected studies between the rower biomechanics and the blade’s hydrodynamics, where the boat speed prediction is not comprehensive. This is due to the complexity of the rowing system, which leads to the difficulty in analyzing the rower’s biomechanics and blade hydrodynamics.
