Health Services: A Comparative Study Between India and Finland
摘要
The World Happiness Index ranks 126 out of 146 while Finland topped this index for a long time. Health Services play a crucial role in calculating the happiness index. India has Public and Private health sectors where private costs four times more than the public sector and the majority of people use private due to easy availably. That somehow makes health inaccessible in the true sense. Finland otherwise provides both the systems. However, the public sector is more easily available and accessible. These facts play a crucial role in the happiness of Finland. The Present study compares the health services in India and Finland and suggests what changes can be made to improve one of the domains of the happiness index in India.
