Quest for Yi-Jing (Aesthetic Conception)
摘要
The term Yi-Jing (意境, aesthetic conception) dates back to Buddhist sutras, which states “Worldly phenomena are shaped by ones consciousness (Zhi); one attains his perception of objects (Jing, a mental realm) by having sensibilities of the mind; ones consciousness distorts his perception of the world; thus in the attainment of the original state of everything (Xuan), which is profound and mysterious, lies the ultimate truth.”
