The sixth chapter focuses on the staging and chronology of archaeological cultures in the West Songhua River basin. Based on the chronological grouping of the third excavation at the Dahaimeng site in Yangtun, Yongji, a phased study was conducted on the site materials of the Xituanshan culture. The unearthed pottery pots of the Xituanshan Culture were reclassified and grouped for further research using typological methods. Through comparison with pottery from various contexts within the site and with pottery from other archaeological cultures, the Xituanshan culture has been divided into three phases: early, middle, and late. These three phases are dated to the Western Zhou period, the Spring and Autumn period, and the Warring States period, respectively.
