Fascinated by the neurons in the brain, a new variant of P system, known as the spiking neural P system was introduced in the area of membrane computing. One of the brain features known as structural plasticity is incorporated in the new variant, spiking neural P systems with structural plasticity (SNPSP systems) which takes advantage of the dynamic synaptic connectivity of the system. Different weight structural plasticity boosts the system in dynamic synaptic connection with different multiple transmissions of spikes from a neuron to various neurons. This new variant, spiking neural P system with different weight structural plasticity (SNPDWSP system) throws light on overcoming the limitations of performing the arithmetic operation (multiplication) in the previous works. Motivated by it, we executed the multiplication of two integers using the SNP system with different weight structural plasticity in this paper.
