This paper proposes the meta-heuristic algorithm as an answer to optimal reactive power dispatch (ORPD) in a power system. Single (or) multi-objective functions are used to solve ORPD. In this case, the multi-objective function is specially used. The purpose is to reduce the actual electricity consumption and voltage deviation, instead of limiting the technical equality and inequality. This segment consists of voltage management for generator buses, transformer taps, and reactive power compensators. The IEEE 30-bus system is used to test the proposed improved Grey Wolf Optimizer for multi-objective optimization using MATLAB software.
