A Study of Windfarm Framework and Its Performance Analysis

Wind power is now the fastest-growing renewable energy source, having grown at an unparalleled rate in recent years. Wind power will be an important part of the world's electrical output by 2050, when the goal of getting 80% of the world's energy from renewable sources is expected to be achieved, according to the assessment of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Offshore wind farms have grown in importance due to the growing demand for renewable energy and the shrinking availability of land for onshore generation. With the ever-increasing speed of technological development, offshore wind project development has emerged as a key player in this dynamic terrain. The worldwide movement toward offshore wind as a key energy solution is highlighted by this pattern, which is especially noticeable in many European countries. As part of its efforts to diversify its energy sources, China, UK, Germany, Denmark, Netherlands, and the USA are major players in the offshore wind energy sector. India is also moving forward toward offshore wind energy. There is unrealized potential for the nation to harvest wind power off its beaches due to its extensive coastline and distinctive physical features. This study will examine India’s present offshore wind energy situation in order to illuminate the country's endeavors to make a substantial worldwide contribution to the offshore wind energy scene. In addition, this paper will explore the major parts of windfarm and their function, comparison of offshore and onshore wind farms; one part simulation is taken for a 140 MW wind farm.
