Presently the practice of installing conventional deep foundations, in weak bearing capacity soils is at a peak which in return causes distress to the environment. To counteract this limitation of conventional piles, in the year 1830 Alexander Mitchell invented and introduced helical piles in the United Kingdom. Helical Piles are manufactured hollow tubular or square shaft steel sections along with a helical plate which is fabricated to the central hollow steel shaft. Helical piles are very much convenient in the event of supporting light weight structures which are needed to be installed in weak bearing soils. Furthermore, this paper explores the different Helical Pile software and their individual limitations. For enriching this paper, the Helical Pile Application from Google play store, Magnum Geo Application by Magnum Piering, and Goliath tech screw pile mobile software were considered. Upon using the individual applications, it was observed that the Magnum Geo Application provided the Helical Pile configuration on specifying the soil properties. In Goliath tech screw pile application, it was discovered that it analyses the compression capacity of the helical pile whereas the Helical Pile Application from Google play store analyses the compression and uplift capacity of the helical pile on providing the helical pile configuration. This paper is purely centred towards the comparative study of Helical Pile using software developed by individual software developers.
