In this chapter, we establish the fundamental theory of flexible linguistic valuesFlexible linguistic value. First, we introduce the types of flexible linguistic valuesFlexible linguistic value, then analyze and define the operations on flexible linguistic valuesFlexible linguistic value. In particular, we propose the concepts and methods of algebraic composition and decomposition of flexible linguistic valuesFlexible linguistic value. Meanwhile, we also analyze the properties of mutually negative and relatively negative linguistic values and then propose the complementarity partition of a measurements pace and the complementation relation between flexible linguistic valuesFlexible linguistic value. Besides, we also consider other relations between flexible linguistic valuesFlexible linguistic value, especially analyze and define the approximation relation between flexible linguistic valuesFlexible linguistic value and present the corresponding measuring method.
