Idiopathic orbital inflammation (IOI) is a benign condition in which inflammation is generally limited to the orbit but extra orbital manifestations may also occur [1]. This idiopathic inflammation can occur in the lacrimal gland, globe, retro-orbital tissue, or extraocular muscles causing myositis. Involvement of extraocular muscles is common [2].
