A 21-year-old boy presented with a history of vision loss in his left eye following a road traffic accident 2 months ago. Following trauma, his vision in the left eye deteriorated to the perception of light (PL+) with an inaccurate projection of light (PR+). The patient could appreciate light only from his temporal quadrant. There was an iris-sphincter rupture. No improvement in vision occurred with oral steroids. He underwent optic nerve decompression, and his vision recovered from PL+ to 3/60 (Figs. 19.1, 19.2, 19.3, 19.4, 19.5, 19.6, 19.7, 19.8, 19.9, 19.10, 19.11, 19.12, 19.13, 19.14, and 19.15).
