A large amount of data is uploaded to the Internet on a daily basis. This information is a valuable source of knowledge, but it's too large for people to read it all in one go. So, to make things easier for people, summarization techniques have been developed to condense and present a compact version of the original text data, while still making it relevant. There are a lot of different summarization techniques are there, but so far very few have been able to create summaries for Gujarati language. This paper proposes an abstractive approach for Gujarati text summarization. The purpose of text summary is to shorten a lengthy text while preserving its key information. Extractive summarization selects crucial sentences or phrases from the original text and organizes them logically to form a summary. Abstractive summarization, on the other hand, generates fresh sentences to convey the primary concepts of the original text. This paper also presents comparative study of text summarizer for Gujarati content.
