Internet of Vehicles (IoV) is a promising domain that influences the principles of the Internet of Things (IoT) to revolutionize mobility and transportation. By integrating IoT concepts into the automotive industry, IoV is prepared to enhance the way we interact with vehicles and navigate our surroundings. Integrating vehicles, infrastructure, communication networks, and technologies improves transportation efficiency, security, and the user experience. The IoV has the potential to utterly revolutionize how we travel due to the beginning of protected, more functional, and more environmentally friendly modes of transportation. This study analyzes the usage of Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) for floating emergency messages with acknowledgment aggregation under IoV. Broadcasting emergency notifications to all moving vehicles is the most difficult task for IoV because of heavy traffic and inconsistent channel conditions. To efficiently disseminate critical information via MQTT, this research presents an acknowledgment aggregation-based packet processing strategy.
