To ensure different facilities like traceability, quality control, and transparency among horticultural products, Blockchain and IoT are required through supply chain software. It is difficult to ensure and implement because the horticulture crop supply chain is complicated and involves various stakeholders and operations. Blockchain and the IoT technology can solve these issues by providing a transparent and secure platform for real-time monitoring of the operational activities, data collection, and sharing. The study shows Blockchain and IoT can enhance supply chain transparency, traceability, and quality control. However, the effectiveness of these technological advances depends on several variables, including the crop type, the dimensions of the supply chain, and the degree of acceptance by stakeholders. The findings show that Blockchain and IoT have the vast potential to transform the horticulture supply chain in many aspects, such as quality, traceability, transparency, optimization, profitability, and digitalization.
