The patient, in her 50s and asymptomatic, was referred to our hospital for further evaluation after an ovarian tumor was discovered during a routine medical examination (Fig. 17.1). If confirmed as an ovarian tumor, surgery is recommended. However, if it turns out to be a subserosal uterine leiomyoma, a follow-up observation is the planned course of action.
