Ovarian Malignant Tumors with Mixed Solid and Cystic Areas: E. Imaging Diagnosis of Granulosa Cell Tumor
摘要
A 55-year-old woman was scheduled for surgery to remove an ovarian tumor. A transvaginal echocardiography revealed that the tumor seemed to consist of both solid and cystic areas. We plan to first remove the ovarian tumor and submit it for an intraoperative rapid diagnosis. If the tumor is confirmed as ovarian cancer, we will proceed with staging surgery, inclusive of retroperitoneal lymph node dissection. However, if the tumor is not ovarian cancer, lymph node dissection will not be carried out. Our treatment plan aims to diagnose, as much as possible through preoperative imaging studies, whether the ovarian tumor is benign or malignant and its histological type.
