One of the keys to understanding the miracle of China’s economic growth is fully understanding the role of opening up to international trade in this process. This chapter examines the important research results of Chinese scholarly investigations of China’s international trade-related issues, focusing on comparative advantages, trade liberalization, exchange rate fluctuations and financing constraints, and systematically summarizes the research contributions of Chinese scholars on related topics.
