Natural fiber-reinforced polymeric composites are becoming increasingly prominent in engineering applications. This study aims to evaluate the impact of hybridizing various laminate stacking sequences that incorporate bamboo (B), kenaf (K), and sisal (S) woven fabric. The investigation focuses on the analysis of mechanical attributes of the layered composite samples. Amount of stress induced and total deformation of the layered composite was measured. The effect of hybridization can be observed from the amount of stress developed in each composite. Impact analysis was also carried out. The impact test consisted of the impact of a spherical ball on bonnet, Solidworks and ANSYS Workbench were used to design the model and to analyze of the bonnet respectively. From the results obtained from ANSYS, the deformation, stresses, were compared. From these comparisons, it can be concluded that the hybrid kenaf and sisal fiber showed higher deformation and stress induced compared to hybrid kenaf/bamboo and bamboo/sisal composites.

摘要
