Ethnogeography: Object, Content, Concepts, Disciplinary System and Methods
摘要
In the development trend of contemporary science, there are two distinct and dialectically related tendencies that have strong representativeness. One is the continuous differentiation and specialization of various disciplines due to the in-depth study of their contents. The other is the necessity of comprehensive study of objective reality, which promotes the mutual enrichment of knowledge between adjacent disciplines and gives rise to some emerging interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral marginal disciplines. As an emerging marginal discipline, ethnic geography has emerged and developed as a branch of human geography scientific system, as the specialization degree, research depth and breadth of traditional disciplines such as ethnology and geography deepen, and the rich accumulation of knowledge materials between them, and the mutual infiltration and reference of research content and methods. Like any other discipline, it has its own specific objects, contents, and methods of research, and its own constantly developing and improving disciplinary system.
