Hepatic Metastatic Tumor

This chapter introduced the hepatic metastatic tumor, which is the commonest secondary malignant tumor in the liver. The diagnosis of hepatic metastatic tumor mainly relies on imaging examination. This chapter mainly discussed the different sources of malignant tumors of hepatic metastases on the imaging diagnostic value and progress, the imaging manifestations of liver metastatic tumor, and through multiple cases shows the lung cancer, digestive system malignant tumor, head and neck malignant tumor, malignant tumor, and other musculoskeletal system malignant tumor of hepatic metastasis, each case usually included the history overview, figure presentation, and main points of teaching. The findings of these metastases on imaging examinations such as CT and MRI are described in detail. In addition, the route, location, and imaging features of extrahepatic metastases were mentioned, including metastases to the lung, mediastinum, and pleura, kidney and adrenal gland, bone, brain, and abdominal lymph nodes. Through concrete cases and images, this chapter showed the different performance and diagnostic methods of various kinds of metastases.
