Cholangioscopy technology is widely used for the diagnosis and treatment of intrahepatic and extrahepatic biliary diseases and special cases in clinical practice as one of the most important minimally invasive techniques. In this chapter, we briefly introduce the application of cholangioscope to hepatobiliary diseases focusing on the types of cholangioscope, the types of cholangioscopy technology, the indications and contraindications of cholangioscopy technology, and the latest application progress in cholangioscopy technology.
