To explore and summarize the imaging manifestations of viral hepatitis, the chapter first mentions that viral hepatitis is a group of infectious diseases caused by various hepatitis viruses, and there is little previous imaging research on it; the understanding of its imaging manifestations is insufficient. Then it describes in detail the imaging features of viral hepatitis, including the characteristics observed in imaging techniques such as ultrasound, CT, and MRI. Furthermore, it quotes related cases to delve into and describe the imaging manifestations and differential diagnosis of viral hepatitis. The main manifestations of hepatitis are diffuse swelling of the liver; heterogeneous signals/density of liver parenchyma; widening of the periportal space; the “reverse” enhancement; edema of gallbladder wall; and secondary manifestations such as ascites, pleural effusion, and increased reactivity of retroperitoneal lymph nodes.
