This chapter comprehensively discusses the techniques of hepatobiliary ultrasonography, detailing the various preparations before the examination, position selection, and instrument condition settings. It also emphasizes the core technologies such as real-time B-mode ultrasound scanning planes and color Doppler flow imaging, along with their specific applications in disease diagnosis. Furthermore, the chapter introduces special examination techniques, including contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) and ultrasound elastography.
