An Encryption Scheme and Performance Results for IoT-Based Healthcare Service Framework
摘要
Healthcare monitoring such as heart rate, oxygen saturation (SpO \(_2\) ) and body temperature is used in various applications from consumer lifestyle practices to patient monitoring. It is essential to have secure data transfer from sensor to monitoring dashboard for healthcare monitoring. In this study, an encryption scheme is proposed for a healthcare framework and a benchmark study is conducted with C, Java and JNI implementations on the gateway. We performed benchmarks in each application using the same data and hardware to compare the runtime speeds of the same encryption algorithm with C, Java and JNI.
