In the present chapter, we discuss a few measurement techniques to study the energy resolution and detection efficiency of inorganic scintillation detectors for gamma rays. We also discuss a measurement method to study the nuclear reaction cross sections, using large volume scintillation detector, relevant for the next generation fusion reactor.
