This chapter discusses the innovative efforts of ICMR-CIBioD in collaboration with various organizations to pilot a futuristic healthcare delivery ecosystem in rural Himachal Pradesh. Highlighting the role of telemedicine during the COVID-19 pandemic, this chapter details the launch of telemedicine services at PGI satellite centres in Una, Sangrur, Thunag, Thana Kalan and Awah Devi, enabled by CIBioD, Sri Venkteshwara Indo Global Medicare, Nirogya Life Line Foundation, Menthosa Solutions and Aavishkar Innovation Ventures. These initiatives aim to provide affordable and comprehensive healthcare through telemedicine and artificial intelligence solutions, particularly in underserved regions. The chapter also covers the India Health Conclave, a forum for discussing healthcare innovations and policy challenges, and emphasizes the importance of government schemes like Ayushman Bharat Yojana in advancing universal health coverage and healthcare accessibility in India.
