A Decentralized Voting System Based on Blockchain

An e-voting framework utilizing decentralized technology can establish a secure and transparent environment for elections, where voters can confidently cast their ballots knowing that their votes are final and untampered with. Blockchain’s decentralized structure ensures that votes are recorded accurately, preventing interference from external actors. In a protected e-voting framework, each vote becomes part of an immutable, distributed ledger, allowing for peer-to-peer validation of transactions. This ensures that each vote is counted as a single, unalterable entry. Results can be instantly reported once the voting process is complete. Voting is a critical process conducted in democratic societies, typically through secret voting papers or other similar methods. However, traditional voting systems are often plagued by issues like vote tampering, low voter turnout, and logistical challenges. To address these problems, we propose the implementation of decentralized voting platforms, offering advanced security, efficiency, and trust in the electoral process.
