In today’s online dating world, many apps focus on superficial traits, missing deep compatibility, which is crucial for meaningful relationships. This paper introduces EROS, an AI-powered dating app designed to create meaningful connections through advanced matching technology. EROS addresses this gap by using Agentic Systems and Semantic Similarity Algorithms to match user profiles based on compatibility. The app uses Q-drant for fast profile searches and MongoDB Atlas for secure and scalable data management. It also features a LLAMA3 powered AI chatbot called Salus, which provides personalized advice sourced from top dating and philosophy books, enhancing user support and well-being. EROS uses FastAPI for backend operations and Firebase for secure user authentication and real-time engagement. Quantitatively, the app shows improved match success rates and higher user satisfaction. Unique to EROS is its focus on building custom GenAI pipelines to enhance user well-being by offering curated mental health and relationship advice. Future work will aim to expand the AI’s advisory and matchmaking capabilities.
