Linked devices, software, and hardware form an interactive network-the Internet of Things (IOT). These solutions are increasingly turning valuable in alleviating healthcare challenges arising from the increasing aging population, diminishing medical resources, and skyrocketing medical costs. Several works have sought to enhance monitoring efficiency in IOT-enabled healthcare systems. This paper investigates IOT architecture concerning cloud-integrated systems and the security of IOT devices. The research addresses performance improvement in IOT-based healthcare systems concerning some important aspects such as accuracy, power consumption, among others. The paper also involves data management methods for cloud-integrated IOT healthcare systems evaluating performance, merits, and limitations. Also includes a comparative analysis of the current health technologies. Previous studies show that IOT protocols like 6LoWPAN are highly utilized in health care. Many of these advances have been achievable via the successful detection of a symptom and accurate diagnosis prediction. Moreover, it covers IOT-based healthcare systems that have been specially designed for the elderly and value the time taken to assess their medical needs. Current systems discussed in this paper have significant challenges associated with high-energy consumption, limited resources, and security issues.

摘要
