Technological advancements are progressing at an unprecedented pace, permeating every aspect of our lives, including integration with the human body. Among the most ubiquitous of these advancements are smartwatches, wearable devices that are rapidly becoming entrenched in daily life, with their adoption accelerating without hesitation. The profound influence of smartwatches on human activity, coupled with their capacity to store vast amounts of personal data, renders them critical sources of evidence for forensic investigators. These devices archive a wealth of information, including messages, call logs, notifications, and user health parameters. While numerous smartwatch brands exist globally, Noise stands out as a prominent brand native to India. Although prior research has extensively explored smartwatch forensics, none have focused on the Noise brand. This study conducts a forensic analysis of two foundational models from Noise: the NoiseFit Rugged Force and the ColorFit Pulse Grand. This research, therefore, proposes a comprehensive data acquisition framework incorporating chip-off methods, linked device acquisition, and connectivity packet analysis. Given Noise’s significant market share in India, this study holds particular importance for forensic investigators in the country. Furthermore, this paper will serve as a foundational reference for future research in the forensic analysis of Noise brand smartwatches.
