Chapters 3 and 4 addressed the impact of educational levels and attainments on rural poverty. This chapter shifts the focus to the varying effects of different types of education on rural poverty, building on the findings from the preceding chapters. The term “type” refers to categories comprised of elements with shared characteristics. Level often denotes the sequential order of related elements, whereas attainment pertains to the degree of proficiency attained in a particular professional field. Based on this, the type of education discussed in this chapter refers to educational categories based on similar educational characteristics.
