In the age of globalised economy and multicultural societies across regions such as Southeast Asia, I observed that there rises a digital space among its people which constitutes, perhaps, their affinity to the nation or soil to which they were born, albeit, online. This reality is common among people whose citizenship is not granted by their respective states as a status that indicates belonging to a society, a community and a nation. This is what I refer to as imagined citizenship.

摘要

In the age of globalised economy and multicultural societies across regions such as Southeast Asia, I observed that there rises a digital space among its people which constitutes, perhaps, their affinity to the nation or soil to which they were born, albeit, online.
