A new flat lens utilizing meta-surface structures was analyzed and designed for imaging applications operating in the THz frequency band. THz signal focusing characteristics with a relatively low-transmission loss were verified by use of three-dimensional field analysis. This lens is suitable for the application to three-dimensional under-cloth imaging systems for non-contact inspection for remote security applications in a public space.

摘要

A new flat lens utilizing meta-surface structures was analyzed and designed for imaging applications operating in the THz frequency band.
