Smart Farming Methods Using IoT and Machine Learning to Protect Agricultural Crops from Wild Animals
摘要
Our daily lives rely significantly on technology. The need for Internet of Things has grown dramatically across many industries, attracting significant research attention from both the academic and industry communities. Only in the agriculture business has Internet of Things adoption facilitated smart farming and precision agriculture, to mention a few. Every year, more wild animal attacks on agricultural land occur, and the number of fatalities as a result of these attacks is rapidly increasing. As a result, agricultural crop production is decreasing. Farmers address this issue in a variety of ways, but government laws work against them because they are designed to exterminate wild animals. As a result, there is no long-term solution to these problems. This proposed technique combines crop protection vibration sensors with Internet of Things application development to prevent animal invasions into crop fields. Cutting-edge techniques such as wireless sensors and Internet of Things principles are used in the suggested smart farming system to protect both agricultural output and wild animals. In this case, the tools are deployed with the help of wireless sensors, which identify the type of animal that is approaching and generate a sound designed to scare it away. Using innovative agricultural techniques to protect crops from wild animals can lessen the chance of agriculture being harmed by both wild animal attacks and human touch. According to the findings of the proposed work, crop productivity increases 98% while fighting between wild animals and humans decreases, and the proposed work achieved more than 98% security.
