Value-based education is more important than ever in a time of moral ambiguity, competitive pressures and quick technological advancement. This study explores how the Bhagavad Gita’s timeless wisdom can be a potent basis for establishing moral principles that support students’ holistic development. The Bhagavad Gita, a revered Indian philosophical text, provides deep insights into self-discipline, emotional resilience, duty (dharma) and ethical living traits, that are essential for nurturing well-rounded individuals. By aligning its teachings with modern educational frameworks, this study examines how the Gita can be integrated into classroom instruction to promote not only intellectual growth but also emotional, moral and spiritual development. In order to identify fundamental values found in the Gita, such as self-awareness, compassion, perseverance and inner stability, and assess their applicability in modern educational contexts, the Bibliometric Methodology was used, which involved both qualitative and visual analysis of research articles found in the scholarly academic databases Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, Taylor and Francis, Springer, Emerald insight, Sage, and Google Scholar. The study also proposes educators’ useful pedagogical strategies for integrating these values into teaching methodologies and curricula. In order to empower students, the study ultimately promotes a redesigned educational system that strikes a balance between academic success and personal growth.

摘要
